Scott Hatley
BIOGRAPHY:
Born with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Scott Hatley is Co-founder and Executive Director of INCIGHT. He is passionate about busting the prevailing stigma in society so those with barriers can leverage obstacles in their life to contribute to their fullest potential. His commitment to positive change is evident in his collaborative creation of INCIGHT’s mission.
Scott is a member of the Rotary Club of Portland and served on the Board of Directors for the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, Exceed Enterprises, and All Hands Raised, where he currently sits on the organization’s Partnership Council. The Portland Business Journal recognized Scott as one Portland’s 2020 Executives of the Year for his leadership and has been recognized by several organizations for his service to the Disability Community, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Personal Achievement Award recipient and 2004 national finalist), Exceed Enterprises (2013 Londahl-Risley Award), ORPTI (2007 Youth Achievement Award) and Exceptional Parent Magazine (2006 Distinguished Service Award).
Scott is a native and resident of Portland, Ore., and graduated from the University of Portland.
