What You’ll Do:
- Leading and managing vision: Set and drive the credit union’s vision forward with a focus on fulfilling our mission, vision, and values.
- Financial and operational management: Efficiently manage the financial and operational aspects to ensure the credit union’s success.
- Member focus: Uphold an unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional member experience.
- Team and culture development: Cultivate an environment and culture that focuses on trust, respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity while developing and empowering the team.
- Strategic planning and execution: Strategically plan and execute initiatives to uplift the communities served.
- Foresight and adaptive thinking: Anticipate and adapt to changes in the financial industry to ensure the credit union’s continued success.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with staff, community partners, and regulators to inspire action and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, business management, or accounting; in lieu of a degree, an equivalent mix of education and work experience required.
- 10 years minimum experience in the financial services industry.
- 5 years minimum experience in mid to senior-level management.

- Exceptional commitment to member experience.
- Knowledge and sound understanding of the credit union system and the financial services industry including an awareness of the laws and regulations.
- Understanding of financial reporting, accounting, budget planning, and financial impact of decision making.
- Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) fund grant experience.
- Strong listening and communication skills, both written and verbal, and effective presentation abilities.
- Comfortable with being the external representative of the organization in the community.
- Native or near-Native proficiency in Spanish
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $170K-$200K
