BIOGRAPHY:

Zach Forster is the Vice President of Legislative Affairs for Idaho at the GoWest Credit Union Association. In this role, he supports credit unions and their members by helping shape thoughtful public policy, building awareness, and encouraging collaboration across the financial services landscape.  

Prior to joining GoWest, he served as Government Affairs Director at the Idaho Bankers Association and as a policy advisor to Governor Brad Little, with a focus on the Department of Finance. Zach also has substantial experience at the federal level in Washington, D.C., where he worked as a professional staff member on the U.S. Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, overseeing the Small Business Administration. He was also a key legislative advisor to Senator Jim Rish.  

Zach holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Boise State University and an MBA from the University of Denver.
