Microsoft Cloud Engineer (M365 and SharePoint)
This position administers and maintains M365 applications or servers in use including but not limited to Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Azure AD, and PowerApps. Manages M365 security administration including data security using M365 compliance tools and other solutions built into M365. Stand up and create content for SharePoint sites, administer SharePoint, and provides personnel support to manage and maintain Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online. The full pay range is $81,741.30-$122,611.92. Depending on experience and qualifications.

Essential Functions and Tasks
- Administer and maintain M365 applications or servers in use including but not limited to Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Azure AD, and PowerApps.
- Administer SharePoint groups.
- Assist members of the Systems and Infosec team with duties as assigned by management Focus on process changes that will contribute to increased operational excellence and an improved user experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify business requirements, and design the SharePoint 365 online environment.
- Develop and maintain migration documentation and best practices.
- Ensure M365 services and applications are deployed and used in the best possible manner for CU, identify any improvements in the usage of M365 at CU and work to implement them.
- Establish new SharePoint (including Document Libraries and Lists) and Teams sites.
- Identify and recommend M365 solutions and applications.
- Implement security policies, permissions, and authentication for SharePoint 365 online environment.
- Maintain well-developed working knowledge of the assigned duties and job functions; keep up to date and request additional training and/or development as needed.
- Manage and administer role-based security for different levels of access on the Infrastructure team.
- Manage M365 security administration including data security using M365 compliance tools and other solutions built into M365.
- Manage permissions as users leave or are reassigned, to include Microsoft 365 (M365) groups.
- Microsoft 365 Planning and Design.
- Plan, execute and monitor the migration process, (on-prem file shares to Share point) including data mapping, content migration, and testing.
- Promote and adhere to the Outward Mindset: See the needs, objectives, and challenges of others, adjust your efforts to be more helpful of others, and measure the impact of your work on others.
- Provides outstanding member and employee experiences following the established credit union MX and EX principals.
- Provide personnel support to manage and maintain Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and end-users during the migration process.
- Repair broken process flows (Power Automate/Power Apps).
- Report regularly to work and return from breaks and meal periods on time according to the posted schedule.
- Resolve user issues accessing Teams functions.
- Stay current with M365 changes and updates and keep IT and the business informed of upcoming changes and to leverage new services or application M365 offers.
- Stand up, create, and design content for SharePoint sites.
- Review office 365 new features, apps, integrations with external platforms, services, tenant configurations, assessment, and enablement
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the migration process.
- Work closely with business users to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Work with customers and third party vendors to troubleshoot issues, provide innovative and creative solutions to different challenges
Education & Experience Required
Education
- High school graduate or GED
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Office 365 Stack –SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Power Platform.
- 5+ years’ experience of supporting engineering for SharePoint SE, Microsoft 365 and/or SharePoint Online.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Experience
- Experience creating shell programs and utility scripts.
- Experience in SharePoint migration from on-premises to O365 SharePoint Online.
- Experience planning and designing Microsoft SharePoint environments.
- Experience using tools like ShareGate, Infowise, Microsoft SharePoint Designer, Microsoft InfoPath, or Microsoft PowerApps to create forms.
- Experience using SharePoint Sites, Custom Workflows, and Document Libraries.
- Experience with providing operations and user support software / hardware training to formulate technology solutions and ensure the effective safeguarding and sharing of enterprise data.
- Experience with SharePoint administration, configuration, and policy management.
- Experience with SharePoint focused DLP polices and compliance systems.

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance is paid at a 100% by company for the employee coverage. We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA) and Day Care FSA (DCFSA). Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan. Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 personal holiday, and 16 hours of volunteer time.
All benefits except 401k start the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment
