Job Description:

What you will do:

  • Coach staff

  • Prepare branch incentive programs

  • Assist in achieving annual Branch goals

  • Support introduction of new products and services 

  • Provide assistance in resolving member issues

  • Provide performance feedback for training development 

  • Account for inventories of money orders, bank checks, etc

  • Assist with cash orders, balancing of vault, and perform periodic audit of cash drawers 

  • Act as a Loan Officer and provide guidance when necessary to staff members 

  • Recommend process improvements in order to streamline

  • Provide counseling for members as related to financial matters 

  • Assist members with fraudulent or forgery claims 
  • Ensure members are provided prompt and courteous service 

  • Cross-sell all credit union services 

  • Assist in the selection and hiring of Branch staff members  



  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience in a financial institution or related field.  Related work experience may be substituted, year for year, for educational requirements


  • One to two years of previous supervisory experience and/or demonstrated leadership skills 

  • One year of experience in the selection and hiring of staff; preferably within a financial institution or related industry 

  • Successful competition of the in-house BAI Courses including Supervisory Training, Negotiable Instruments, Check 21 and position related courses
