BIOGRAPHY:

Ben Stuckart was born and raised in Spokane WA. Ben worked in the private sector for 13 years, served as the Spokane City Council President from 2012-2019 and has been the Executive Director of the Spokane Low Income Housing Consortium since 2023. He founded the Land Bank in 2022 to try and remove barriers to production of more housing. Spokane is in a housing crisis, 3 year waitlist for low income housing, rents and housing prices increasing by over 60% in the last 3 years — we must try new ways of doing things to meet this ever growing need.
