Andrew Kobialka

Andrew Kobialka is the Communications Manager for the Northwest Credit Union Association. In this role, he is responsible for being the planner, editor, and primary writer of the NWCUA’s weekly Newsletter, Anthem, which informs senior leadership and credit union employees, industry regulators, and the trade press.

Kobialka brings NWCUA a wide array of communications, content creation, and media relations experience through his years serving in the United States Air Force. He navigated regional to international storytelling, working in cooperation with major news outlets and multinational governmental agencies to inform a global audience on Defense news. His previous roles include spearheading the communications efforts for Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho and shaping the Defense information landscape in East Africa while based out of Djibouti, Africa.

Kobialka earned a B.A. in Business Management from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He also completed the Mass Communications Course from Defense Information School at Fort Meade, Maryland.

Kobialka is passionate about showcasing the impact credit unions have on their members to create empowered communities.
