Arizona Top of the Hill Award Winners Honored at MAXX

What an honor to celebrate two Arizona credit unions during the 2025 MAXX Awards Gala. This year’s Top of the Hill awards went to TruWest Credit Union and Arizona Financial Credit Union.

Both credit unions contributed tremendously to the advocacy efforts in 2025. Participation in the Arizona Governmental Affairs committee, the 2025 State Issues Working Group Committee, attendance and participation at the Arizona Day and the Capitol, and many other efforts. Both credit unions activated their team members in a fight to protect interchange during the legislative session, sending emails to members of the Arizona House of Representatives to vote no on HB2629. This effort moved the needle to members voting no and the eventual failure of the bill. In addition, both award winners are also active contributors to the political action committee.

We are so delighted to have these two credit unions and their leadership as part of our advocacy journey.
